Polish Sausages And Sauerkraut Recipe
Ingredients
1 can (1 lb.) sauerkraut
4 medium or 2 long Polish sausages
1/4 tsp. caraway seeds
1 1/2 tbsp. sugar
1 1/2 tbsp. chopped onion
2 cups water Dumplings, if desired
Directions
Put, all ingredients except dumplings into saucepan; simmer over low heat 1 hr.
If desired, spoon batter for 2 large dumplings onto sauerkraut; cook uncovered over low heat 10 min.; cover and cook 10 min. more.
