Ingredients

 
2 3/4 in (2 cm) thick slices back bacon, diced large
 
1/2 red onion, cut in 3
 
4 oz (115 g) Polish sausage, peeled and diced large
 
1/2 cucumber, peeled, seeded and cut in 3/4 in (2 cm) thick slices
 
1/2 cup (125 ml) catsup
 
1 tbsp (15 ml) horseradish
 
Juice 1 lime
 
Few drops Tabasco sauce
 
Pepper

Directions

Preheat oven to 500°F (260°C).
Alternate bacon, onion, sausage and cucumber on skewers; place on ovenproof platter.
Mix remaining ingredients together and brush over skewers.
Cook 14 minutes 8 in (20 cm) from top element.
Turn skewers over once and baste with leftover catsup mixture if desired.
