Ingredients

 
1 cup chopped celery
 
2 tablespoons butter or margarine
 
2 1 3/4-ounce cans beef broth
 
1 tablespoon minced dried onion
 
1/2 teaspoon dry mustard
 
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
 
1/4 teaspoon dried oregano, crushed
 
1/4 teaspoon dried basil, crushed
 
1 pound Polish sausage, sliced
 
1 16-ounce can cut green beans, drained
 
1 tablespoon cornstarch
 
1 tablespoon cold water
 
1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese (2 ounces)

Directions

In large saucepan cook celery in butter or margarine till tender.
Add beef broth, onion, dry mustard, garlic powder, oregano, and basil.
Heat to boiling; stir in Polish sausage and green beans.
Reduce heat; simmer, covered, 15 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Combine cornstarch and water; stir into mixture.
Cook and stir till slightly thickened and bubbly.
