Polish Sausage Atop Caraway Sauerkraut Recipe
Ingredients
1 package (32 oz.) refrigerated sauerkraut
2 teaspoons caraway seeds
1 medium apple, cored and finely sliced
1 lb. precooked Polish sausage
Directions
1. Drain sauerkraut. Place in 2-quart (8 x 8) glass baking dish. Stir in caraway seeds and apples. Place sausage on top. Cover with plastic wrap.
2. Microwave on REHEAT for 10 minutes. Turn sausage over; recover, and continue cooking on REHEAT for 5 to 7 minutes. Let stand, covered, 5 minutes before serving.
