Polish Finger Cookies Recipe
Ingredients
| Nuts | 1 1/2 Pound | |
| Sugar | 1/3 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| All purpose flour | 2 Pound | |
| Butter | 1 Pound | |
| Egg yolks | 5 | |
| 3/4 Cup + 1 Tbs. Milk | ||
| Sugar | 1 Tablespoon | |
| Dry yeast | 1 | |
| Powdered sugar | 1 box | |
Directions
Mix sugar and nuts together for filling.
Mix flour and butter together, add egg yolks and mix in well.
Boil milk and sugar.
Add yeast.
Let this rest and bubble, then mix into flour mixture until dough feels like pie dough.
Dough does not raise.
Measure half teaspoon of dough; roll out on powdered sugared board.
Put 1/2 tsp.nut mixture on and roll up lengthwise.
Place on greased cookie sheets, 1/4" apart.
Bake at 350 degrees for 12 to 15 minutes.
Sprinkle with powdered sugar.
May be frozen.
