Pocket Sandwiches with Sauce Recipe
Ingredients
1/4 cup steak sauce
1 tablespoon vegetable oil
1 tablespoon soy sauce
1 tablespoon granulated sugar
1 garlic clove, finely chopped
1 pound ground beef
3 tablespoons dry bread crumbs
1 teaspoon salt
2 individual pita breads
1/4 cup onion rings
1/4 cup green pepper strips Yogurt Sauce
Directions
Combine steak sauce, vegetable oil, soy sauce, sugar and garlic in small bowl for glaze; set aside.
Combine beef, bread crurribs and salt in bowl; mix well.
Form beef mixture into 4 patties.
Grill 6 inches from heat 10 minutes, brushing frequently with glaze.
Turn and grill 5 additional minutes.
Cut pita breads in half to form 4 pock-ets.
Place a patty in each pocket.
Add onion and green pepper.
Serve with Yogurt Sauce.
