Ingredients

 8 fish fillets salted and kept for 20 minutes and then washed
 Water2 Cup (16 tbs)
 Onion1 , sliced
 Carrot1 , sliced
 Bay leaves2
 Garlic4 Clove (5gm), crushed
 4 slit green chillies or 2 broken dry red chillies
 A few sage leaves
 Peppercorns6
 Juice of 1 lime or 2 tbsp vinegar
 Sugar1/2 Teaspoon
 Salt To Taste
 8 spring onion florets

Directions

Microwave all the ingredients, except fish, in a large bowl for 10 minutes.
Let the broth stand for 5 minutes.
Pour the broth in a shallow serving dish and place the fish fillets in it and microwave covered for 10 minutes or until the fish is cooked.
