Poached Salmon with Ginger Recipe
Ingredients
| 1 lb salmon fillet | ||
| Ginger root | 1 Tablespoon, grated | |
| Lemon slices | 3 | |
| Dry white wine | 3 Tablespoon | |
| Lemon juice | 1 Tablespoon | |
Directions
Set oven to 375°F
1. Place salmon fillet on 2 layers of aluminum foil, large enough to make a tent over the fish.
2. Rub ginger into salmon, cover with slices of lemon. Sprinkle wine and lemon juice over the fish. Fold foil so that it makes a tent with the ends sealed too.
3. Place on baking sheet and bake at 375°F for 20 minutes (or longer if fillet is thicker than 1 inch). Carefully unfold the top of the foil. Transfer fish to serving platter. Pour cooking juices over fish and serve.
