Poached Salmon Steaks Recipe
Ingredients
| Hot water | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Dry white wine | 1/3 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Peppercorns | 2 To taste | |
| Lemon | 1 , thinly sliced | |
| Dairy sour cream | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs) (Sauce:) | |
| Parsley | 1 Tablespoon, minced (Sauce:) | |
| Bay Leaf | 1 (Sauce:) | |
| Instant minced onion | 1 Tablespoon (Sauce:) | |
| Seasoned salt | 1 Teaspoon (Sauce:) | |
| 4 or 5 salmon steaks | ||
| Lemon juice | 1 Teaspoon (Sauce:) | |
| 1/2 teaspoon dried dill weed | ||
Directions
MAKING
1. In 7-1/2" x 12" utility dish, blend all ingredients except salmon and heat on High for 5 minutes until the mixture boils.
2. Place the fish in the hot liquid.
3. Cover the dish with a plastic wrap.
4. Cook on high for 2 minutes.
5. Let the fish stand in the hot liquid for 5 minutes.
6. Drain the fish.
FINALISING
7. In a 1 cup measure, put together all the sauce ingredients.
SERVING
8. Serve salmon with sauce.
