Poached Salmon Steaks Recipe
Ingredients
| 1 large lemon, cut in 6 slices | ||
| Onion slice | 2 | |
| Bay Leaf | 1 | |
| Salt | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
| Peppercorns | 3 | |
| 4 salmon steaks, 1-inch thick | ||
| 1 jar (5 ounces) hollandaise sauce | ||
Directions
1. Half-fill a large skillet with water; season with 2 of the lemon slices, onion, bay leaf, salt and peppercorns; bring to boiling.
2. Place salmon steaks in the pan; cover. Simmer 15 minutes, or until fish flakes easily with a fork; drain.
3. While salmon cooks, heat hollandaise sauce, as label directs.
4. Place salmon steaks on serving plates; spoon the hollandaise sauce over each. Garnish with remaining lemon slices.
