Directions
1. Core pears from the bottom, leaving stems intact. Pare pears; brush with lemon juice.
2. Mix wine and sugar in 3-quart casserole. Microwave uncovered on high 3 to 6 minutes or until boiling; stir until sugar is dissolved. Place pears upright in wine mixture. Spoon wine mixture over pears.
3. Cover tightly and microwave on high 10 to 12 minutes, rotating casserole 1/2 turn and spooning wine mixture over pears after 5 minutes, until pears are soft but not mushy.
4. Let pears stand covered in wine mixture about 45 minutes or until warm. Serve warm or cold with Hot Fudge Sauce.
