Ingredients
4 frozen halibut steaks
2 tablespoons chopped onion
2 tablespoons chopped green pepper
1 tablespoon butter or margarine
1 teaspoon cornstarch
1 teaspoon sugar
Dash garlic salt
1 8 ounce can tomatoes, cut up
2 tablespoons sliced pimiento stuffed green olives
1 tablespoon prepared horseradish
Directions
Put frozen steaks in skillet with just enough water to cover.
Add 3/4 teaspoon salt; bring to boiling.
Reduce heat; cover and simmer till fish flakes easily when tested with fork, 7 to 8 minutes.
Thoroughly drain fish.
Meanwhile, in small saucepan cook onion and green pepper in butter till tender but not brown.
Blend in cornstarch, sugar, garlic salt, and dash pepper.
Stir in undrained tomatoes, olives, and horseradish.
Cook and stir until thickened and bubbly.
