Poached Figs Recipe
Ingredients
1 cup water
1/4 cup wine vinegar
3 tsp granulated sugar
2 cinnamon sticks
15 dried figs
Directions
Combine water, vinegar, sugar replacement and cinnamon sticks in saucepan, and bring to a boil.
Add figs, reduce heat, cover, and simmer for 15 minutes.
Add extra water if needed.
Remove figs with slotted spoon.
Chill thoroughly.
