Poached Eggs With Wine Recipe
Ingredients
1 tsp butter
1/2 cup Rhine wine
4 eggs
Salt and pepper to taste
2 tsp blue cheese, crumbled
Directions
Melt butter in a skillet.
Add the wine.
Carefully slip eggs into skillet.
Season with salt and pepper.
Cover and cook over medium heat until egg whites are set but egg is still loose.
Sprinkle with the cheese.
Cover and continue cooking until eggs are done as you like them and cheese is melted.
