2 cups hot tap water (or enough to cover eggs)
 
4 eggs

Directions

1. Put water into a deep 1 1/2-quart glass casserole. Cover with an all-glass lid or plastic wrap. Heat in microwave oven to boiling (4 to 5 minutes at High).
2. Break eggs, one at a time, into a saucer or small dish. Slip each egg carefully into hot water. Cover and cook in microwave oven 1 1/2 to 2 minutes at Medium, or until whites are almost set.
3. Remove from oven and let stand covered a few minutes before serving.
