Directions

Combine flour, 1/4 cup of the sugar and the salt in a bowl, cut in butter with a pastry blender or two knives, blend in egg yolk and milk.
Press dough against the bottom and sides of an 8 inch square baking dish.
Sprinkle with cracker crumbs, arrange plum halves, cut side up, in the dish; press lightly into the dough.
Sprinkle with lemon juice.
Stir cinnamon into remaining sugar and sprinkle over plums; dot with butter, bake in a preheated 375° oven about 45 minutes or until pastry is lightly browned and plums are tender, cool before serving.
