Plum Jam Recipe

Ingredients
3 lbs. Plums
3 lbs. sugar
1 cup water
Directions
Halve plums and remove stones.
Crack a few Stones and remove the kernels.
Place fruit, kernels and water in a preserving pan.
Bring to the boil and cook rapidly until plums are tender, stirring frequently.
Warm sugar, stii into plums and continue rapid cooking until the mixture jells when tested on a saucer.
Bottle and seal.
