Plum Chutney Recipe
Ingredients
| 5 lbs blue plums cooked and put through collander 2 kg | ||
| Apples | 4 Pound, chopped | |
| Onions | 3 Large, chopped | |
| Allspice | 1 Tablespoon | |
| Cloves | 1 Tablespoon | |
| Ginger | 1 Tablespoon | |
| Salt | To Taste | |
| Brown sugar | 4 Pound | |
| Cayenne pepper | 1/4 Teaspoon | |
| 3 cups vinegar, malt or cider 750 mL | ||
Directions
Combine plum puree and remaining ingredients.
Cook uncovered, stirring constantly until thickened.
Pour into sterilized jars and seal.
