Plum Soup Recipe

Ingredients
1/2 pound dried plums or prunes
1 1/2 cups golden raisins
6 cups water
2 tablespoons molasses
2 tablespoons butter
1/4 teaspoon vinegar
1 tablespoon cornstarch dissolved in 1 tablespoon water
Directions
Soak plums or prunes and raisins overnight in the water.
Bring to a boil, add molasses, butter and vinegar and cook 5 minutes.
Stir the dissolved cornstarch into the soup to thicken.
