Plum Sauce Recipe
Ingredients
| 1 12-ounce jar plum preserves | ||
| Vinegar | 2 Tablespoon | |
| Brown sugar | 1 Tablespoon | |
| Onion | 1 Tablespoon, finley chopped | |
| 1 teaspoon seeded and finely chopped dried red chili pepper or 1 teaspoon crushed red pepper | ||
| Garlic | 1 Clove (5gm), minced | |
| Ground ginger | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
Directions
In a small saucepan combine plum preserves, vinegar, brown sugar, onion, red chili pepper or crushed red pepper, garlic, and ground ginger.
Bring mixture to boiling, stirring constantly.
Remove from heat; cool slightly.
Refrigerate in a covered container overnight to blend seasonings.
