 1 12-ounce jar plum preserves
 Vinegar2 Tablespoon
 Brown sugar1 Tablespoon
 Onion1 Tablespoon, finley chopped
 1 teaspoon seeded and finely chopped dried red chili pepper or 1 teaspoon crushed red pepper
 Garlic1 Clove (5gm), minced
 Ground ginger1/2 Teaspoon

Directions

In a small saucepan combine plum preserves, vinegar, brown sugar, onion, red chili pepper or crushed red pepper, garlic, and ground ginger.
Bring mixture to boiling, stirring constantly.
Remove from heat; cool slightly.
Refrigerate in a covered container overnight to blend seasonings.
