Plum Pudding Ice Cream Recipe
Ingredients
4 quarts vanilla ice cream
1 4-ounce container red candied cherries,diced
1 4-ounce container diced candied lemon or orange peel
1 4-ounce container candied pineapple slices,diced
1 cup dark seedless raisins
1/2 cup apple cider
1 teaspoon lemon extract
3/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
3/4 teaspoon ground cloves
Directions
1. Place ice cream in refrigerator about 40 minutes to soften slightly.
2. Meanwhile, in very large bowl, combine can died cherries and remaining ingredients; let stand 15 minutes, stirring often, until all liquid is absorbed.
3. Stir ice cream into fruit mixture until well mixed. Cover bowl and freeze until firm, about 4 hours.
