Plum Pie Recipe
Ingredients
| One 9" unbaked, unpricked pie shell | ||
| 4 cups prune plums, pitted and halved | ||
| Sour cream | 3 Tablespoon | |
| 1 tbsp Seville orange marmalade | ||
| White sugar | 3/4 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Flour | 2 Tablespoon | |
| Nutmeg | 1/4 Teaspoon, freshly grated | |
| Butter | 1 Tablespoon | |
| Whipped cream | ||
Directions
Arrange plums skin side up in the pie shell.
Dot with sour cream and marmalade.
Combine the sugar, flour, and nutmeg.
With a pastry blender, cut the butter in until the mixture is crumbly.
Sprinkle the sugar mixture evenly over the plums.
Bake at 425 degrees for 10 minutes.
Reduce heat to 350 and bake for 30-40 minutes.
The crust should be golden brown and the fruit tender.
Serve with whipped cream.
