Plum Ham Recipe
Ingredients
| Ham | 1 , uncooked | |
| Plums | 1 Can (10oz) | |
| Firmly packed brown sugar | 2/3 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Water | 1/4 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| 1 tablespoon plus 1 teaspoon dry mustard | ||
Directions
GETTING READY
1.Preheat the oven to 325 degrees
2.Strain plums keeping the juice aside.
3.Mix well plum juice, brown sugar, water and dry mustard.
MAKING
4.Take a 13x9x2inch baking dish and put ham in it with the skin facing up.
5.Drizzle the sugar mixture over the ham and cover with a foil.
6.Keep the dish for baking for 3-31/2 hours( 30 minutes for 1 pound)
7.When 30 minutes are left, take the ham out and cut it in diamond shape.
8.Make cuts in fat measuring 1/4 inch.
9.Put the ham for baking for 30 minutes.
10.Apply the drippings in between.
SERVING
11.Serve the ham garnished with plums.
