Plum Deep Dish Pie Recipe
Ingredients
| Pastry for deep-dish pie | ||
| Granulated Sugar | 1 1/4 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| 3 tablesp. flour | ||
| Salt | 1/8 Teaspoon | |
| Almond extract | 1/4 Teaspoon | |
| 2 tablesp. butter or margarine | ||
| Plums | 4 Cup (16 tbs), pitted | |
Directions
Start heating oven to 425°F.
For filling, combine sugar, flour, salt, extract, butter.
Arrange plums in 10"x6"x2" baking dish; sprinkle with sugar mixture.
Adjust top crust as in Apple Deep-Dish Pie,
