Plantation Cheese Log Recipe
Plantation Cheese Log has a healthy taste. The worcestershire sauce with chilli powder gives the Plantation Cheese Log a two dimensional taste.
Ingredients
| Pecans | 1 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Garlic | 2 Clove (5gm) | |
| Cream cheese | 6 Ounce, softened | |
| Salt | 1/8 Teaspoon | |
| Worcestershire sauce | 1/8 Teaspoon | |
| Soy sauce | 1/8 Teaspoon | |
| Tabasco | 4 Drop | |
| Chili powder | 1 1/2 Teaspoon |
Directions
Put pecans and garlic through medium blade of a food chopper.
Blend the remaining ingredients except chili powder in a bowl; mix in the pecan-garlic mixture.
Shape into a roll about 1 1/2 inches in diameter.
Sprinkle chili powder evenly over a sheet of waxed paper and rolllog in the powder to coat evenly.
Wrap tightly in moisture-vaporproof material.
Chill cheese log at least 4 hours.
Slice before serving.
If necessary, allow log to stand at room temperature to soften slightly.
Serve with assorted crisp crackers.
