 Plantains3 Large, peeled
 Sugar1/2 Cup (16 tbs)
 Butter4 Tablespoon
 Milk2 Cup (16 tbs)
 3 thin slices mild Cheddar cheese, cubed
 Cinnamon stick3 inch

Directions

Cut a deep slit in plantains from end to end, but do not split all the way through.
Melt butter in a skillet; brown plantains in butter for 2 to 3 minutes.
Fill slits with small cubes of cheese; sprinkle with sugar, add milk and cinnamon stick.
Cover simmer for 10 minutes.
Uncover.
Cook for 15 minutes longer
