Planked Fillets Or Steaks Recipe
Ingredients
2 pounds fish fillets or steaks, fresh or frozen
2 tablespoons melted butter, margarine, or oil
2 tablespoons lemon juice
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon paprika
Dash of pepper
Seasoned hot mashed potatoes
Seasoned hot cooked vegetables (asparagus, broccoli, carrots, cauliflower, onions, peas, or tomatoes)
Directions
Thaw fish if frozen; pat dry with paper toweling.
Cut fish into 6 portions.
Place in single layer, skin-side-down, on preheated oiled plank or well-greased bake and serve platter, 18 x 13 inches.
Combine remaining ingredients, except vegetables; mix well.
Pour over fish.
Bake in 350°F oven 20 to 25 minutes, until fish flakes easily.
Remove from oven; arrange hot mashed potatoes and 2 or more hot vegetables around fish.
Garnish with chopped parsley.
