Planked Salmon Mousse Recipe
Ingredients
| Plank-cooked salmon-1 1/2-pound-bones removed | ||
| Light cream | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Sour cream | 2 Tablespoon | |
| Lemon juice | 3 Teaspoon | |
| Salt | To Taste | |
| Tabasco sauce-3 dashes | ||
| Fresh chives or green onions (green part only)-2 tablespoons-finely chopped | ||
| Watercress-1 bunch-garnish | ||
Directions
MAKING
1. In a food processor bowl, tip in the salmon, cream, sour cream, lemon juice, salt and Tabasco sauce
2. Process well until the mixture is completely smooth
3. Add seasonings to the mix as required
4. Add chives, green onions and mix again till completely smooth
5. Cover and chill for five hours or till completely processed
SERVING
6. Serve immediately with your favorite crackers and sprinkled with watercress
TIP
It can also be served frozen by chilling the dish overnight
