Plain Fried Rabbit Recipe
Ingredients
| 1 large rabbit, about 3 pounds, cut up | ||
| Tabasco sauce | 1 Tablespoon | |
| Flour | 1 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Thyme | 1 Teaspoon | |
| Ground black pepper | 1 To taste | |
| Peanut oil for pan-frying, about 1 cup | ||
| Salt | To Taste | |
Directions
Place the rabbit pieces in a bowl and add the Tabasco.
Mix well and let marinate for 1/2 hour.
Mix the flour, thyme, salt, and pepper together in a paper sack.
Dredge the rabbit in the flour and pan-fry in the hot oil.
Brown both sides evenly on moderate heat, uncovered.
This should take about 20 minutes to cook.
Serve with Fried Cabbage, Rigatoni con Pepperoni, and a green salad and rolls.
