Plain But Perfect Pilaf Recipe
Ingredients
1 cup vermicelli, raw
5 cup chicken broth hot
2 cup brown rice raw sprinkle
Cinnamon, optional
Directions
1. Break vermicelli into 1-inch or 2-inch pieces and brown in 1/2 cup chicken broth until it takes on a golden color.
2. Add rice and stir lightly until rice is crisp.
3. Pour in hot chicken broth. Cover. Simmer over low heat for about 60 minutes.
