Plaice in Lemon Sauce Recipe
Ingredients
| Butter | 1 Ounce | |
| Parsley | 2 Tablespoon, chopped | |
| Plaice fillets | 1 , skinned | |
| Salt | 1 To taste | |
| Black pepper | 1 To taste | |
| Cornflour OR Cornstarch - 2 teaspoon | ||
| Lemon Juice and Lemon Rind - 1/2 no | ||
| Water | 3 Tablespoon (For the sauce:) | |
Directions
MAKING
1) In a bowl, mix together the butter and parsley. Spread the mixture over the skin side of the plaice fillets.
2) Roll the fillets, with the thick end facing inwards.
3) Arrange the rolled-up fillets in a microwavable container.
4) Sprinkle salt and pepper over the fillets. Cover the container and microwave for 5 minutes.
5) In a deep bowl, mix cornflour, lemon juice and water. Sprinkle salt and pepper on top.
6) Cook the cornflour paste for about 1 1/2 minutes. Keep stirring in between.
7) Pour the mixture over the cook plaice fillets.
SERVING
8) Re-heat the plaice fillets in lemon sauce in the microwave for about 1 minute before serving.
