Plaice in Lemon Butter Recipe
Ingredients
| Butter - 1 ounce/25g | ||
| Parsley | 2 Tablespoon, chopped | |
| Plaice fillets | 4 | |
| Black pepper salt | 1 To taste | |
| Corn flour | 2 Teaspoon (Sauce:) | |
| Juice and rind of lemon - 1/2 teaspoon | ||
| Water - 3 tablespoon/45ml | ||
Directions
MAKING:
1) Combine butter and parsley and apply on the skinned side of plaice fillets.
2) Roll the fillets (ensure thick side is inside) and place them in a dish.
3) Season the rolled up fillets with salt and pepper and cover the dish.
4) Cook the fillets for about 4 minutes and then allow it to stand for about 5 minutes.
5) Meanwhile, combine cornflour, water and lemon juice in a deep bowl and season the mixture with salt and pepper.
5) Cook the flour mixture for about 1 1/2 minute (stir during the process).
6) Pour this sauce over the cooked fillets and if required, reheat the fillets.

7) Serve the fillets hot.
