Pizza Sauce Recipe
Pizza Sauce has a Distinctive taste. The blend of olive oil, onion, tomatoes, sugar, salt and black pepper gives the Pizza Sauce Rousing taste.
Ingredients
| Olive oil | 1 Tablespoon | |
| Onion | 1/4 Cup (16 tbs), finley chopped | |
| Garlic | 1 Clove (5gm), minced | |
| Italian | 1 Can (10oz), peeled | |
| Tomato Paste | 3 Tablespoon | |
| Dried oregano | 1 Teaspoon, crumbled | |
| Sugar | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
| Salt | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
| Ground black pepper | 1/8 Teaspoon |
Directions
Heat oil in medium saucepan.
Add onion and garlic; saute over medium heat 5 minutes, stirring constantly.
Do not brown.
Puree tomatoes and their juice in blender or food processor, or break up with fork.
Add tomatoes, tomato paste, and seasonings to saucepan.
Bring to boil; reduce heat to low.
Cook, uncovered, stirring occasionally, 50 minutes or until thick.
Set aside to cool.
