Ingredients

Olive oil

1 bulb of fennel thinly sliced

½ cup of pesto sauce

1/2 cup of shredded mozzarella cheese

1/2cup of shredded fontina cheese

¼ cup of parmesan cheese

1 large marinated roasted red pepper

½ pound of bulk fennel sausage( cooked and crumbled)

1 fresh pizza dough

Directions

First roll out dough unto a prepared greased pan.
Spread olive oil over the entire pizza dough.
Brush with pesto, sprinkle with cheeses, top with fennel, red pepper, and sausage.
I like to put mine on a hot grill-watching it very carefully, or into a 450 degree oven for 10 to 12 minutes.

Editors Review

If you love your pizza with pizzazz, then this grilled pizza is a must have. Cathy, as always, adds her own unique touch to this Italian staple by layering it with yummy toppings and then grilling it to perfection. Creamy, thick and quite a mouthful, grilled pizza is just perfect for your parties and night outs.

This Pizza on The Grill looks simply irresistible! Do you actually grill with the pizza on a plate instead of exposing the lower surface to fire? What if I directly place the pizza on the grill?
