Pizza Wellington Recipe
Pizza wellington recipe is very precious to me because it was passed on to me by my mom. Use the freshest of beef available to get a great pizza wellington. Surely, pizza wellington is a recipe one can try out any time.
Ingredients
3 pounds lean ground beef
2 tablespoons flour
1 tablespoon salt
1/2 teaspoon pepper
2 to 3 teaspoons leaf oregano
2 tablespoons instant minced onion
2 eggs
1/2 cup dry bread crumbs
1 package Refrigerated Pizza Dough and Sauce
8-ounce package sliced Mozzarella cheese
Directions
In large mixing bowl, combine meat, flour, salt, pepper, oregano, minced onion, eggs, dry bread crumbs and can of pizza sauce.
Mix well.
Shape into two 9x3-inch meat loaves.
Bake in shallow pan at 350° for 1 hour.
Remove from oven; cool 10 minutes.
Unroll pizza dough; stretch to form a 14x 10 inch rectangle.
Place, seasoned side up, on ungreased 15x 10 inch jelly roll pan.
Cut in half to form two 10x7-inch rectangles.
Place meat loaves, rounded side down, on rectangles.
Wrap meat loaves, sealing edges and ends of dough.
Place seam side down.
Bake at 400° for 15 to 20 minutes.
Top with cheese slices during last 5 minutes of baking.
