Pizza Pinto Beans Recipe
Ingredients
| 1/2 pound pinto beans, soaked overnight, drained | ||
| Hamburger | 1/2 pound | |
| 2 yellow onions, peeled and chopped | ||
| Spaghetti sauce | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Pepperoni | 1/4 pound, sliced | |
| 1/2 cup fresh-grated Swiss cheese | ||
| Oregano | 1 Teaspoon | |
Directions
Cook the beans in 1 quart water until barely tender, about 1 hour.
Drain, and place in casserole.
In a frying pan, cook the hamburger with the onions until the onions are clear and drain the fat.
Add the meat and onion mixture to the casserole along with the spaghetti sauce and pepperoni.
Top with the cheese and the oregano.
Bake at 375° for about 25 minutes, until hot and lightly browned.
