Pizza Bologna Recipe
Ingredients
| Flour | 1 3/4 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Yeast | 1 Teaspoon | |
| Salt | 1 Teaspoon | |
| Onions | 4 | |
| Garlic | 2 Clove (5gm) | |
| Meats | 1 Pound | |
| Oil | 3 Tablespoon | |
| 32 oz. can of tomatoes | ||
| Tomato ketchup | 6 Tablespoon | |
| Dried oregano | 2 Teaspoon | |
| Salt | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
| Pepper | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
| Tomatoes | 1 2/3 Pound | |
| Mozzarella cheese | 2/3 Pound | |
Directions
Whisk the yeast with 1/2 cup lukewarm water and some flour.
Cover and set aside 20 minutes to form a sponge.
Add the remaining flour, the salt and 1 cup lukewarm water.
Knead well and allow the dough to rise 30 minutes.
Peel and finely dice the onions and garlic.
Fry the ground meat in the oil and add the onions, garlic, tomatoes with their liquid, the ketchup and oregano.
Cook the sauce down and season with the salt and pepper.
Preheat the oven to 400°.
Grease the baking sheet and dust with flour.
Roll the dough out on it, layer with the sliced tomatoes and season with salt and pepper.
Spread with the sauce and top with slices of Mozzarella.
Bake the pizza 20 to 30 minutes.
