Pita Pizza Recipe
Ingredients
1 mini pita pocket (1 ounce), cut in half horizontally and toasted
2 tablespoons tomato sauce
3 tablespoons sliced mushrooms
1 tablespoon diced onion
2 ounces mozzarella cheese, shredded
Oregano leaves and garlic powder
Directions
Preheat broiler.
On baking sheet place toasted pita halves and spread 1 tablespoon tomato sauce over each; top each with half of the mushrooms and 1 1/2 teaspoons onion, then sprinkle each with 1 ounce cheese and dash each oregano leaves and garlic powder.
Broil until cheese melts, 1 to 2 minutes.
