Pita Pizza Recipe
Ingredients
| 4 small whole wheat pita bread | ||
| 1 tomato sauce, 1 1/2 cups heated | ||
| Mushrooms | 12 , sliced | |
| 1/2 green pepper, in rings | ||
| 1/2 red pepper, in rings | ||
| Pitted black olives | 12 , sliced | |
| 2 raw sausages | ||
| Mozzarella cheese | 1 Cup (16 tbs), grated | |
| Cheddar Cheese | 1 1/4 Cup (16 tbs), grated | |
| Chopped parsley to taste | ||
| Salt | To Taste | |
| Pepper | To Taste | |
Directions
Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C).
Place pita bread on cookie sheet and cover with tomato sauce.
Add mushrooms, peppers and olives.
Remove sausage meat from casing and arrange on pizzas in tiny clumps.
Top with a mixture of grated cheeses and season with parsley, salt and pepper.
Cook pizzas in the middle of the oven for 10 minutes.
