Piquant Fillets Of Fish Recipe
Ingredients
1 Ib fish fillets
1 teaspoon paprika
1 tablespoon flour
1/2 teaspoon salt pepper
1beaten egg
1/2 cup cracker crumbs
1/3 cup butter
2 tablespoons oil
1 teaspoon grated onion
1/2 cup water
1 tablespoon chopped parsley
1 chicken cube
3 tablespoons sherry
1/2 teaspoon thyme
Dash pepper
1 cup sour cream
Directions
Dry fish thoroughly and dip in a seasoned flour, then in egg and finally in fine cracker crumbs.
Cook until golden brown in hot butter and oil and when cooked remove to a warm plate and make sauce, To the,fat remaining in the pan add grated onion, water, parsley, chicken cube, sherry, thyme and pepper.
Bring to boil and remove from heat and add the sour cream.
Return to heat and stir until hot.
Jadcrumbs may be used instead of cracker crumbs,
