Piquant Green Beans Recipe
Ingredients
2 (10 ounce) packages frozen whole green beans
1/2 cup water
1/2 teaspoon salt
4 slices bacon, cut into 1/2-inch strips, sauteed and drained
Bacon drippings
2 tablespoons diced pimiento
2 tablespoons red wine vinegar
1/4 teaspoon sugar
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
1/4 teaspoon dry mustard
2 drops hot sauce
Directions
Place green beans in saucepan with water and salt.
Cook on high heat until steaming; then simmer for 10 minutes or until tender.
Add bacon to beans.
Add remaining ingredients to bacon drippings; heat and pour over beans; mix well.
