2 tablespoons butter or margarine
 
1 tablespoon all-purpose flour
 
Dash ground red pepper
 
1 cup milk
 
3 slices American cheese food, chopped
 
2 tablespoons finely chopped pimento-stuffed olives

Directions

1. In small bowl, place butter or margarine, flour, and ground red pepper; cover bowl with large plate. Cook at high (100% power) 1 minute, stirring after 30 seconds, until butter or margarine melts. Stir in milk. Cook, uncovered, at high 4 minutes or until mixture thickens slightly, stirring briskly with wire whisk after 2 minutes, and every minute thereafter.
2. Stir cheese and olives into mixture in small bowl. Cook, uncovered, at medium (50% power) 1 to 2 minutes, stirring after 1 minute, until cheese melts and sauce is smooth
