Ingredients
1 Cup Sugar
1/4 Cup Shortening
1 Egg
1 1/2 Cups Flour
2 Cups Cooked and Mashed Pinto Beans
2 Cups Diced Raw Apples
1 Cup Walnuts
1/2 Tsp.Soda
1/2 Tsp.Salt
1/2 Tsp.Cloves
1/2 Tsp.Allspice
1 Tsp. Cinnamon
1 Cup Raisins
1 Tsp.Vanilla
Topping:
6 Oz.Cream Cheese
2 Lbs.Powdered Sugar
1/2 Lb.Margarine
1 Cup Walnuts
Directions
Cream sugar, shortening; add egg.
Sift together dry ingredients.
Add creamed mixture.
Stir in beans, apples, raisins, nuts & vanilla.
Pour into greased and floured loaf pan.
Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hr.
15 min.or until toothpick comes out clean.
Blend cream cheese, powdered sugar, margarine and nuts.
Sift together dry ingredients.
