 1 qt. pink rose petals, packed down tightly
 Sugar3 Pound
 2 cakes yeast or equivalent in dry yeast
 Boiling water1 Gallon

Directions

Pick only sweet pink rose petals the sweeter the rose, the better the wine, Pack petals down tightly in large glass or enameled container until it makes 1 qt. of packed petals.
Pour the boiling water over and let stand 24 hours.
Drain off the liquid, squeezing as much juice as possible from the petals, and add sugar and yeast.
Let work in stone crock about 6 weeks; strain and bottle.
