Pink Grapefruit Sorbet Recipe

Ingredients
| 3 large pink or red grapefruit | ||
| Sugar | 1 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Light corn syrup | 1/4 Cup (16 tbs) | |
Directions
With vegetable peeler, remove four 4 inch long strips peel (about 3/4 inch wide each) from grapefruit, then squeeze 2 cups juice.
In 2 quart saucepan, heat sugar, corn syrup, peel, and 4 cups water until sugar dissolves and syrup boils.
Pour sugar syrup and grapefruit juice through strainer into large bowl.
Discard peel and pulp.
Pour juice mixture into 9" by 9" metal baking pan; cover with foil.
Freeze until partially frozen, about 4 hours, stirring occasionally.
In food processor with knife blade attached, blend sorbet until smooth but still frozen.
Return to pan; cover and freeze until almost firm, at least 3 hours.
