Pink Grapefruit Jelly Recipe
Ingredients
| Pink grapefruit | 1 | |
| Caster sugar | 1 Tablespoon | |
| Water | 4 Tablespoon | |
| Gelatine | 2 Teaspoon, powdered | |
| 2 drops pink food colouring | ||
Directions
MAKING
1) Cut the grapefruit horizontally 3/4 down into two pieces; squeeze the juice from both pieces, gently remove the pith, squeezing out all the remaining juice; discard the small skin pieces, wash and dry the larger piece.
2) In a small pan, heat the sugar with 2 tbsp of water until the dissolved; stir the syrup into the grapefruit juice.
3) Dissolve the gelatine in the balance water over gentle heat, then stir into the grapefruit juice alongwith the pink food colouring, blend well.
FINALIZING
4) In a small dish, place the reserved grapefruit skin to keep it upright, then strain the grapefruit juice into it; chill for 2-3 hours until set.

5) Serve chilled.
