Pineapple Sauce Recipe
The pineapple sauce is a desssert sauce made with pineapples and thickened with corn syrup. Tinged with a hint of lemon juce, this lovely dessert sauce can be used with cakes and goes best with the pineapple cake roll.

Mix 2 tablespoons sugar and 1 1/2 tablespoons cornstarch.
Gradually stir in reserved pineapple syrup (about 1 2/3 cups).
Cook, stirring constantly, till thick and clear.
Remove from heat; add 1 to 2 tablespoons lemon juice.
Serve warm or chilled with slices of Pineapple Cake Roll.
