Ingredients

 
2 Quarts Half & Half
 
1/2 Quart Extra Rich Milk
 
2 1/2 Cups Sugar
 
1 Tbs. Vanilla
 
6 Eggs
 
1 Large Can Crushed Pineapple (Dole), in heavy syrup

Directions

Pour milk in a large bowl; add sugar and vanilla.
Add eggs, one at a time, to separate bowl; beat well with mixer.
Pour eggs into milk mixture.
Add can of sweetened, crushed pineapple (do not drain).
Stir well; beat 1 minute with mixer.
Let foam die down, then pour mixture into freezer container and follow icecream freezer directions.
Note:If you have a 4 quart freezer, omit the 1/2 quart of extra rich milk and it should be about the right amount.
The recipe, as given, is for a 5 quart freezer.
If you have a 6 quart freezer, use the whole quart of extra rich milk.
