Pineapple Brownies Recipe

It's hard to stop myslef drooling at the very sight of this Pineapple Brownies. Here's my Mama's recipe for this delicious Pineapple Brownies it's so easy to cook them whenever I want them. If anyone of you give this a try, let me know how it turned out!

Ingredients

1/2 cup shortening
2 squares unsweetened chocolate
1 cup sugar
2 eggs, well beaten
1 flat can crushed pineapple, well drained
1/2 teaspoon vanilla
1 cup sifted flour
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1/4 teaspoon soda
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup chopped nuts

How to make Pineapple Brownies

Melt shortening and chocolate in top of double boiler over hot water.
Blend in sugar.
Remove from heat and blend in eggs, pineapple and vanilla.
Sift together flour, baking powder, soda and salt.
Add to pineapple mixture and blend well.
Stir in chopped nuts.
Pour into well-greased, 8-inch-square pan.
Bake in a moderate oven (350° F) 35 to 40 minutes.
While still warm, cut into squares.
