| Maraschino cherries | 6 | |
| 1/2 18 1/2-ounce package yellow cake mix | ||
| 1/3 cup unsweetened pineapple juice | ||

Directions
1. Melt butter in an 8-inch round glass cake dish in microwave oven (about 30 seconds at High). Mix brown sugar into melted butter. Cook uncovered until brown sugar melts (about 2 minutes at High).
2. Arrange pineapple slices and maraschino cherries in dish.
3. Prepare cake batter following directions on package, using half of ingredient amounts; use pineapple juice and water instead of water called for on package. Fill cake dish half full with batter. (Use any remaining batter for cupcakes.) Cover with a paper towel.
4. Cook in microwave oven 9 to 11 minutes at Medium-High, or
until a wooden pick inserted near center comes out clean; rotate dish one-quarter turn once.
